Too often, Scotland’s football conversation begins and ends with the big two. The rest of us are treated as footnotes — passing mentions, token segments, or afterthoughts in a league that’s far richer than two names on a fixture list.

We set out to change that.

The Steelmen Dispatch is an independent fanzine and digital publication dedicated to telling Motherwell’s story — honestly, intelligently, and in full. We believe every club has depth, history, and humanity worth exploring. From boardroom decisions to the terraces, from tactics to tradition, we dig deeper into what makes Motherwell tick.

Our goal is simple: to bring proper journalism, creativity, and community back to Scottish football coverage. We blend data with storytelling, local pride with professional analysis, and the voice of the fans with the respect the club deserves.
