The first step in our push to secure top 4 (and beyond?) as we welcome the Tangerine Terrors to Fir Park.

The Well go into this in a positive mindset, with a thrashing of St Mirren after our Pittodrie heartache to get us back on the right track. The win, paired with both sides of Glasgow dropping points, saw us catch them up. We now sit 4 points behind Celtic (having to play them twice by EOS), 6 points behind Rangers (having to play them in the split and with a game in hand), and 10 points behind table toppers Hearts (having to play them twice before EOS, with a game in hand also on them).

Truthfully, the fact we are at this point of the season, looking ahead and playing what ifs is testament to the play of the side this season. We can dream can't we?

As for United, with 7 games left to play, they find themselves 9 points behind Falkirk in 6th and hoping to try and claw back the deficit to make top 6. They come into this however having drawn -0- with the Dons on Tuesday night, and having chucked a last minute equaliser to Kilmarnock last weekend. The form has been a worry for the Terrors, as in the last 10 games they have won twice, drawn 4 and lost 4. 10 points out of 30 available. Not horrible, but when the gap between 6th and United in 7th is the same as the gap between United and Killie, who sit in the relegation play-off spot, it is a worry.

The positive we can all take from this...both ends of the table will make fantastic viewing for the remainder of the season!

The last time we faced off, a 0-0 draw at Tannadice was the end result. Stat wise, it was the usual, as the Well dominated possession, shots on goal (and on target), however we couldn't get the breakthrough. The game before that, was also the last time we faced at Fir Park, and was a 2-0 victory for the mighty, with goals coming from Tawanda Maswanhise and Elliot Watt.

Possible Line-ups

For the Well, not much has changed. Callum Hendry and and Johnny Koutroumbis remain missing with injuries. However, Lukas Fadinger is available again following his sending off against Rangers.

Ultimately, this means the only change we may see will be Fadinger coming back in for Oscar Priestman, with the latter dropping to the bench. A shame, as he has been fantastic in his performances, but i have no doubt he will feature.

As for United, The shape tends to be similar but change ever so slightly depending on opponent. In their last 2 matches, we've seen 3-5-2 (Killie at home) and 3-4-3 (Aberdeen at home). When we last faced each other at Fir Park, United lined up in a 4-3-3, so there has been changes throughout the season.

Judging from those matches, we'd expect the GK and back 3 to be largely the same, with Maynard-Brewer in net, and Sevelj and Iovu in front of him. After that, Goodwin has alternated between Graham and Keretsztes so dealers choice. The midfield, if 4 will i'd imagine remain unchanged largely from Aberdeen in midweek. Stephenson, Panutche Camara, Emmanuel Agyei and Will Ferry. potential change could see either of the central players drop for Craig Sibbald, or indeed even include him in a 5 man midfield. The attackers we could see a variety of options. In the last 2 games, starting wise we've seen Watters, Fatah, Sapsford and Trapanovski all feature. I'd imagine Fatah is a dead cert to start, due to his goal threat and creativity from the wing and central.
